Born in 1963 to Togbe Dzokoto IV of Adaklu-Ahunda and Madam Florence Mercy Abra
Gle of Gbi-Kpoeta, Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. Bliss Divine Agbeko (Rtd) is an accomplished clergyman,
chaplain, military officer, and ecumenical leader. He is fluent in Ewe, Twi, and English, reflecting his
deep connection to Ghana's diverse cultural heritage.
Educational Journey
His rich academic background spans theology, divinity, counseling,
administration, and military strategy, with degrees from prestigious institutions including Trinity
Theological Seminary, the University of Ghana, Fort Jackson University, and Erskine Theological
Seminary. This diverse educational foundation has equipped him with both spiritual insight and
practical leadership skills.
Military Service
Ghana Armed Forces Service: 1999-2018
Commissioned into the Ghana Armed Forces in 1999 as a Chaplain, he rose to the
rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 2018 as Deputy Director of Religious Affairs. His
distinguished service included:
- Peacekeeping missions in Sierra Leone, Congo, and Lebanon
- Chaplaincy roles in Tamale, Accra, and Teshie
- Rising through the ranks to Lieutenant Colonel
- Serving as Deputy Director of Religious Affairs

Ordained as Minister of EPCG in 1992
